How is that puluz guard removable one. How is it.. im using x3 in the stick only. Not using shoe. Then can i use it to protect my x3? Then what about the stitch line issue? It will come or not
Hi. I'm not using the Puluz removable, im using Puluz sticky lenses. The removable lens guards seem to make more of a noticeable stitch line, sadly, so I've opted for the sticky lenses. You cannot use the shoe either with removable lenses
@motogirlthailand thnkz bro..how is the puluz sticky lense ..fog issue? Im using x3
Fogging still happens, but I found a good solution. Follow the steps in this (quick) video tutorial: ruclips.net/video/YaSlFFfytSE/видео.htmlsi=ov0xisdG9f7QPhpB
@@motogirlthailand thank you
astaghfirullah😢 what is this so scary blood, naked people omg 😱 so creepy unbelievable Thailand people believe in this😢
It's pretty surreal but also pretty common. ..but Thailand is also a rather interesting mix of Buddhism plus Animism. Maybe I should make a more detailed video on the subject some time!
Btw..sorry if it gave a huge fright!
@@motogirlthailandcan you make something on Islam like show Islamic things pls
I live in Thailand and my knowledge is more about Buddhism, the main religion here. Sadly, I don't really know anything about Islam and I don't think there is so many Islamic temples or people here in Thailand. I would love to see one day, though.
Thank you for this video ❤😊 I haven't been on a bike/scooter before. It's the first time for me in Thailand. I would love to take this route ( I don't want to take the same route back on the 1095 to Chiang Mai). Can you recommend it to a beginner? Or should I rent a car instead?
Ahh..well, you need a full motorcycle license to be legal. (Thailand scooters are 115cc and up, meaning you need a moto license to be insured and road legal). Rental companies will rent you a bike, but if you have an accident you won't be covered. For that main reason, I don't recommend riding and these routes are not so beginner-friendly, also. I would say, go by car and if you want to learn to ride, take a course (which you can do at several places here). I have a "Riding in Thailand" guide on my website (motogirlthailand.com) with info such as rental shops, insurance, courses available and other aspects related to riding here (works for driving also). Hope that helps! *sorry for the late response!
@@motogirlthailand awesome! Thanks a lot for your answer 🙂 I'll check that out
Hi, I'm going to try this, I've been doing bike videos and i always get this moisture spot in the middle of the view with my protective lens case. I hope a big deal will be alleviated. Do you still find your 360 is behaving well? I actually have antifog RainX for the car, i wonder if that will work as well as in the car. Thanks for the tip!
Sorry for a late reply. It's been behaving. Thankfully my trick seems to still work. It's currently just entered into Rainy Season here, so I'll see how it performs over this next season. Did you give the RainX a shot? If so, did it work? I imagine it would do the same job as the spray I have..but not sure how close the formulas are.
🤙
I can feel it
Great to see you back. Missed you 😍
😊 thank you (unfortunately, I spoke too soon.. but it's ok..I'll work it out!)
It's been a while. I was wondering what you were up to since there hadn't been an update. I'm glad to see you're doing well. I'm going to Chiang Mai in July.
😂😂😂
I have tried a couple of other mounts for the unicorn mount shot but all the mounts I have tried just droop while riding on faster speed. May I know if the Ulanzi R099's tight enough to not droop when riding a little faster when on unicorn mount shot set up?
Oh this is so embarrassing. I did not see your comment. So sorry. Did you work it out already? Thing is, no single support will work when there is major drag, unfortunately. In that case it is always best to add a 2nd clamp support. (And tether your camera). Hope you managed to fix the issue! The Ulanzi is, imo, the strongest cla,p out there currently, but you still need an additional clamp because the unipod can snap at the base.
You gave good information 👍
I'm glad if it helps. Ty for commenting. It's appreciated.
could you please shre the link where did you buy the ulanzi bike clamp
Hi. Sorry for a late response (I actually took a break from social media for a couple of months and just getting back to comments now). I bought mine from a local store, however, I do have a link for the exact model and also all the other accessories here: www.amazon.com/shop/zedcm/list/1DVKCUJ7RVDV0?ref_=aipsflist_aipsfzedcm hope that helps!
May i know, does the ulanzi clamp really hold the cam while attach with the invisible stick ? Thanks
Hi. So sorry for the late reply. I took a break from social media. The Ulanzi is really strong, however, speed and other factors can put stress on the selfie stick itself (there have been reports of selfie sticks snapping at the base). To counteract that I recommend putting a double claw clamp or similar to bridge the selfie stick and help support it. I'll aim to make a short video about this aspect a little later to help out, because it's a common issue.
Why? Its true... i dont know why...
Maybe it's just very profitable to make it this way (for insta360). 🤔😒
(So sorry for a late response. I took a break from social media )
Very useful. Thanks.
Thank you for commenting. Glad it was useful! (So sorry for a late response. I took a break from social media )
Is this on the way to ban rak Thai or different way? I thought day trip would be good to visit
(So sorry for a late response. I took a break from social media ). No, it's on the way to Khun Yuam (or Mae Hong Son), depending on the route you take. (I do actually have a detailed digital route map guide on my website shop page, which takes you through the locations and gives info, if that is useful for you. Although you may already have found where the location is now!)
great suggestion that I'll try myself thaks
Good luck. Glad if it was useful!
I've been wanting to do this for a while when I got my Honda Super Cub, but I quickly realized that there's almost nowhere to mount a clamp. I can attach it to the rack on the back, but it won't work if I have my pillion seat on. Then I remembered that the center rack I bought has a bar across the top for mounting clamp type items and thought "that would be the perfect place to clamp to!". I can have it up high, I can stick it out the sides, I can do whatever I need to with it :D
Great! I'm glad you have a mounting solution !
1 ? 2 ? 3 ?
Hi. Can you clarify. Happy to help, but what do you need help with?
@@motogirlthailand Merhaba. Hangi lens koruyucu almalıyım ? Ürün linki ve tavsiye verir misiniz ?
Apologies for a late reply. Personally I prefer the glass premium lens.
in addition to antifoging spray you should install sticky lenses after keeping them for a while in a box with silica gel and in a room, where air conditioner reduced air humidity. Those to things help to completely avoid fogging.
Hi. If you read my replies to other comments on this, the lenses were installed in the proper way, but there was still fogging at higher altitudes, which is why i needed to find an alternative solution.

Thank you so much for your information. I am finding the lens protector while I am waiting for my camera. Hope you are happy. PS. Did you make this video in Thailand?
For me the better one is the Premium Glass lens protector. But it will still always be better footage with no protector at all. I hope you have a great time with your new camera! Yes, it made the video in Thailand :)
@@motogirlthailand Thank you for your reply, I just placed an order for the premium glass lens protector last night because your info helps me decide easily. PS. I am Thai, now I am studying in the US. Hope this camera will make my memory more immersive.
Oh, good luck with your studies in US! I hope it all goes well for you. I'm glad if my videos helped you. I really love Thailand btw :)
Lens protection is a scam. There is simply no product out there that would do the job well. That’s why I decided to not use any sort of protection. I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I value video quality over safety.
I agree it is much better without the lens protectors. The glass protects are doing a fairly good job. Unfortunately for my kind of riding I need to use the protectors imo. The risk of falling or getting scratched or broken is just too high for me. For normal use I agree, better without. Just wish they had made replaceable lenses. Given that it's not even properly waterproof in many cases, it seems silly to not have replaceable lenses.
@@motogirlthailand what is your kind of riding? I’m curious 🤷♂️😅 I use my X3 mostly on my motorcycles. I have two. One is a very fast and powerful Sportsbike which I often ride very fast on the German Autobahn. The other bike is an adventure bike for traveling and off-road riding. On both bikes the X3 does well. That’s why I’m curious about what kind of riding do you do?
@dannytomaske my kind of riding is easy to find on my RUclips, Danny. I place my camera in various angles, including behind the wheel. As a dirt rider you will be aware of how much grit and dirt can fly around in the dirt. When the camera is close to the ground the chances of lens damage is high.
To the author: it was necessary to paste the protection on the lenses in dry and cold air so that condensation did not occur between the lenses and the protection. It is hot and humid in Thailand: if you put on protection during the day, then overnight, by morning, the air under the protection cools down and can give dew.
If you read previous comments, you will notice I already addressed this :) The lenses were installed in an aircon humidity-free area and work fine UNTIL riding in mountains or areas where there is precipitation. I managed to reduce this issue dramatically by using a spray: ruclips.net/video/YaSlFFfytSE/видео.htmlsi=iWCBYyvMPHPahfTf
@@motogirlthailand It's easier for you, you don't have negative temperatures, so even installing protection at +30 degrees C will not lead to fog at +15 (probably). And I need to provide -20 degrees, so it is unlikely that the spray will help solve the problem. But thanks for the link. I read that optical sights are filled with air that has been dried at -60 degrees C
@user-kw4lm3nr3h the point of me creating the fog solution video was because I was experiencing fog. In mountains such as Doi Inthanon it can reach temperatures around -5 C in Thailand. Temperatures can fluctuate from humid to dry, wet to dry, dusty and so forth, all in the space of a day's ride. Indeed, I'm not dealing with -20 C, so I do not have direct experience of using the 360 in those much lower temperatures. However, I am originally from Scotland and I do personally know people who have found my tip useful in those lower temperatures. Very sorry if doesn't work for you, though. Not every solution will work for everyone I guess. I wish you good luck in finding a solution :)
I guess ill just use mine without any lens guard. 😂
If you can get away with no using, then yes, so much better without them! I just worry about damaging due to my riding and activities :(
What you are doing is exactly what I'm planning to do in a few years, I want to stay in Thailand for 5-6 months and buy a motorbike in my name, do you have any videos or blogs about the way you have been able to stay long term in Thailand?
Hi. I don't actually write or talk about that side of things. Info and rules also change fairly quickly at times, so info can get outdated pretty fast. I hope you have a great time in Thailand!
Designing the unit the way they did is a really poor manufacturing choice. It could have very easily been removable and still water resistant. They are really just looking to maximize their repair profits. A big finger to the customers.
Agree. It makes zero sense! Especially as many have reported that its not particularly waterproof either. I'd rather buy a waterproof protector and use it only when needed and then use the camera without a lens guard, if removable lenses were available.
So what type of lens protector your are using this time?
I'm using Premium Glass Lens protectors...and I also have a follow up video on how I tackled the fogging issue: If you read previous comments, you will notice I already addressed this :) The lenses were installed in an aircon humidity-free area and work fine UNTIL riding in mountains or areas where there is precipitation. I managed to reduce this issue dramatically by using a spray: ruclips.net/video/YaSlFFfytSE/видео.htmlsi=iWCBYyvMPHPahfTf

Awesome video❤
Thank you so much (and sorry for a late reply. I took a bit of a social media break)
How is the ulanzi mount coming along? I'm really considering buying it. Anyone else who has bought it, need feedback
I'm still happy with the clamp. I did have one guy report back that he didn't like it. Apparently it was slipping. The way to combat that though, is to add some rubber electrical tape on the area you are clamping to, so that it has grip. Or something similar. For me personally, its still the best of the bunch out there.
@@motogirlthailand awesome i bought it. And shot a small video on it. It's on my channel. Thank you for your response ❤️
@bikermeeth oh fantastic. I will take a look. I really hope you are pleased with it. I still think its the best one around..for now, at least.
@bikermeeth I just saw your shorts video. Looks like you have a nice steady shot there. I'm guessing with the Ulanzi mount. Are you using lens guards per chance? The plastic ones? I think the footage could be improved (not your fault!)
@@motogirlthailand yup, I was confused until I saw your video. Clamp seems amazing, thanks for the recommendation❤️
do not buy premium guard. it will fog up too, really bad. I have installed it on my x2
Sorry about your experience. The premium glass guard has been pretty good for me, so far. All of the lenses tend to fog, but did find a fog solution, though: ruclips.net/video/YaSlFFfytSE/видео.htmlsi=WW0NOV0j-CvfS9eS
Thanky a lot
Welcome. Glad if helps!
I've got these boots too (UK) but aren't they super hot there? I just returned from Thailand and couldn't imagine wearing these. Also what do you think caused them to deteriorate so much?
Hi. I haven't found them too hot. I wear a mesh jacket as I like to keep my upper body cool, but lower body and feet isn't something I worry about too much, personally. I do believe heat played a bit of a role in breaking down the plastics and rubber, though. Despite storing them in a cool , dark and humid-free area. However, being marketed globally as an Adv boot, I think that manufacturers should take this fact into consideration. Seems only more clement environments are being taken into consideration
thinking about getting one, but Mexico is a dangerous place to be without protection.... thanks for the vid
Sorry that Mexico is a concern when buying a camera 😢 Ty for commenting and I'm glad if the video helped.
However mexico is also amazing, just hard having nice things here hahaha the early footage is amazing, thanks again@@motogirlthailand
Brought my new pair of forma adventure dry today, all of nowhere this video popped up and im reading this comments😢
Don't worry too much. Hot climates tend to be a factor when breaking down these boots. I'm sure you will still enjoy them and find them comfortable.
One day I will purchase all these accessories soon
Good luck!!
@@motogirlthailand thanks
Just before i go ahead and buy, am I safe to assume the Ulanzi mono pod stick fits onto the Ulanzi clamp?
Hi. Yes, it fits. I can use both the Ulanzi monopod and the Insta360 monopod. It's a standard mount. Hope the clamp works out well for you.
I thought so, just wanted to check. Can't wait to get out on the bike :)
Very nice
Amazing event!
Yes I love it...😊

Oh, for Fogs sakes - can anyone make decent lens protector. Just bought the Puluz upgraded "glass" lens. Feels more like a hardened plastic. Under overcast snowy conditions, the stitch line is visible particularly if there are vertical or horizontal lined objects in the image. There is adequate protection as one Tuber commented, he had to rub it on concrete in order to scratch the lens protector
The Puluz is unfortunately the best of the bunch. Would be better to have replaceable lenses. For me scratching is less of a concern but there are chances of direct knocks. I.e. falling from my bike and hitting the ground. Using a lens protector will save the lenses from being smashed.
Is the optical glass much clearer than the other lens guard
Definitely much better, imo. I have a lens comparison video showing the differences: ruclips.net/video/wnuFO_zE2H0/видео.htmlsi=Xr-Fv-mwUNH0IyFY
